What are you looking for in a tenant?

I am moving out of this apartment, and looking for someone to take over my lease, who is a good fit for my two remaining roommates. The ideal candidate is a young professional who is flexible and generous of spirit, while also responsible when it comes to finances as well as care for common spaces. Your future roommates are two professional women (27 and 28 years old, respectively). One is a PhD student in political science, and the other works in corporate research. Both are quite progressive, love to engage in fun and stimulating conversations, and try to maintain a comfortable, clean, and nurturing space in the apartment.

What do you love about this place?

This apartment is beautiful and spacious, with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, a dining room (!?) and large windows that bathe the living room and kitchen in natural light. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen. The apartment is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath; the available room is in the middle of the apartment. Located on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, this apartment is part of a bustling, eclectic neighborhood with charming residential units, lovely, tree-lined streets, coffee shops, restaurants, and small-businesses. It is across the street from Key Food (this is seriously THE MOST convenient thing), and within a few blocks of multiple bodegas, including one that stocks a considerable number of natural/organic products, and another with an incredible selection of Ben and Jerry's. There are multiple laundry and gym options in the neighborhood. For the runners out there: the apartment is slightly less than one mile from Prospect Park, and slightly more than 2 miles from Brooklyn Bridge Park. For the commuters: the apartment is a short walk away from multiple subway stations, including Bergen Street, Union Street, and Atlantic Station (with access to 2/3/4/5/B/D/N/R/Q trains).

What isn't so great about this place?

Although the apartment is gloriously sunny, the room itself does not have any windows. There is a restaurant downstairs which plays soft music at night.
