Private room in Southside, NY

About the rooms: Two quiet and cozy rooms, both with morning sunlight. One overlooking tree filled backyards, the other the private patio. Both come fully furnished. About the apartment: We have a large common area divided into three spaces: a kitchen, living room, and nook. The living room is filled with plants, with two sofas and a projector/sound system for shows. The nook has a small bar cart and a folding table to seat 4 people. Our kitchen has a dishwasher, electric range/stove top, and lots of cabinet space. Odd for apartment like this: we have two bathrooms. One full with a shower, the other just a toilet/sink. We also have a private patio! What do you love about this place? This building has lots of common areas, perfect for quarantine! We have a full rooftop with a gas grill, multiple seating areas with tables; perfect for a socially distant small gathering of close friends. Just downstairs from the rooftop is a large lounge area with amazing afternoon light, perfect for WFH at the large communal table (or smaller 6 person table in the corner), or cozying up by the gas fireplace on one of the sofas. We have a pretty decently decked out gym: treadmills, rowing machine, stationary bike, dumbbells, benches, pull down bar, leg press, resistance bands, yoga mats, and one of those all-in-one weight machines.

Additionally, we have a coworking space with a large table, couch, and printer. A windowless room, in case you need to concentrate and not get distracted by the amazing rooftop views, or the passage of time.

And lastly, there is secure bike storage, on premises laundry, and a secure package room. About the neighborhood: We've got lots of great local restaurants that are still open, easy access to lots of parks, and a quick bike ride (or train ride) to Manhattan. What isn't so great about this place? The intercom system is a bit wonky... you'll probably be walking down a couple of floors to let food delivery in.
