How should I use the Q&A section on my listing?

Each public listing has a questions section. We created the questions section after discovering that the majority of listings were receiving the same question over and over again. For example, three different prospective tenants might ask if small dogs are allowed.

With questions, you can take the first question as an opportunity to provide a thorough answer that other renters will benefit from. The purpose of questions is to minimize the amount of work that you have to do while you're in the process of getting a tenant.

In the below example a renter asked a question that would likely help other renters to know if they're interested in this house. We provide you with the option to answer privately, but we strongly suggest you do not do so except in certain circumstances. In this example, it wouldn't make sense to answer privately.

Build up as many questions with answers as you'd like

The more information is on your listing the more likely a renter is to book a viewing or apply. All your questions and answers will remain on your listing page even when it's unlisted. This way, when it comes back on the market, you will have even less work than the last time.

It's easy to edit answers

You can edit old answers whenever you need to. Just navigate to the questions tab search for the unit or search question text and click on the question you'd like to edit. You will see an "Update" button. Click on this button to edit your answer.

A word about exchanging contact info

We do not allow the exchanging of contact information via listing questions or answers. Listing questions or answers with contact information may be removed.

Users that have applied to your listing will have access to a private chat thread with you.
