Where is my tenant's security deposit?
Security deposits will be released back to tenants within two weeks of the lease end date or within two weeks of plan cancellation.
If a tenant has not received their deposit the most likely cause is a problem with their payout account. Each tenant must add a payout account in their dashboard in order to receive their deposit.
Steps to add a payout account for tenants:
- Go to your Account section of your Apartment App Dashboard
- Click on the fourth tab from the menu on the left hand side of the screen where it says Payouts.
- Add a bank account.
