Select and adjust the service providers that are dispatched to each unit for routine repairs, checkups, and emergencies.
You can control how repairs and maintenance are executed at each property by selecting the team of providers that are assigned to each unit. Work is always dispatched to your team of preferred providers first.
Adding provider details
- Navigate to your Maintenance settings
- Click Add service provider
- Add the company name, email, phone number, website and type of service that they provide
- Once the record has been created you can add notes about the provider and assign them to specific units
You can customize your team as much or as little as you want at any point. For example, if you replace one plumbing provider with another and the next day a plumber is required, the request will go to the plumber that you have most recently provided.
Each unit must have at least one plumbing, electrical and heating contractor that is available 24 hours a day in case of emergency. If the unit is in a location where Caretaker supports maintenance coordination then these providers will In all other locations, you need to add them.
